Maddox Dance Studio
“The North Coast Dance Center”
Established in 1949 by Jeanne MaddoxMaddox Dance Studio is a non-competitive family-oriented dance studio located in the heart of historic downtown Warrenton, Oregon. We provide classes for students age 2½ through adult. Our goal is to create a friendly, warm and supportive atmosphere in which our students can learn the joys of dance and movement. Our professional faculty is committed to building self-esteem and confidence, while encouraging our students to achieve their personal best. Technique is the cornerstone of the training program. Both children and adults are taught the progression of skills, vocabulary, and improvisational methods of the dance form they are studying. We specialize in age-appropriate costumes, music, and choreography. We provide our students with numerous performing opportunities. Our Spring Recital is an exciting and fun experience for all our students. They also perform at local fairs, senior centers and benefits throughout the year.
The schedules reflect class placement to begin the year, but as a student continues he/she will be evaluated by my faculty for placement in different groupings throughout the year, as not all children advance together as a class, just as in any other form of group instruction.
Dancers selected for Little Ballet Theatre have reached a technique level necessary to perform the company repertoire. All students are encouraged to study several times a week with a focus on one category or a mix of styles.

Annual Recital
All Students will be presented on stage in costume in June in Astoria and Seaside. Dates for the 2010 Recitals will be announced.
